So surely, with all this in mind, isn’t an app more or less the standard for any forward-thinking 21st century business?
Well, maybe not.
An app, or wondering whether you need one, will probably prompt you to answer some useful and not-often-asked questions about your business: what it’s for, how it serves its customers, where it’s going, whether its current (e.g.) website or ecommerce platform is fit for purpose, and – in particular – this question: what problem, exactly, would the app be solving?
Many business-owners are familiar enough with the more-or-less ordinary pressures to be constantly updating, expanding, streamlining. New hardware, new software, new premises or vehicles, a re-brand: there’s always something, the next thing.
