We are seeking professional digital development services to support our marine conservation initiative, The Big Rock Pool Challenge. This will involve developing both a responsive website and a mobile web application that engages participants in educational activities such as the 'Bioblitz Battle' game, a citizen science-driven competition.
The website will provide project information, volunteer registration, event details, and links to the iNaturalist platform. The mobile web app will allow participants to record wildlife sightings, compete in BioBlitz Battles, and contribute to citizen science efforts. Key features include live leaderboards, admin accounts for game management, and user integration with iNaturalist. We already have a prototype app, and now seek a developer to refine it and make it scalable. Both the website and the app must integrate seamlessly, be easy to use, and support our goal of nationwide community engagement.
This work is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and uis subject to the funder procurement and digital development rules. Further details about this and the project in general, including how to bid for this work, are available on request.
